Description

Still work in progress! So if there's anything you'd like to point out, please do. Thanks!

Edit: Changed the split. This should hopefully make the whole thing more dramatic and less boring. Also improved the guy a bit, so that he doesn't look as flat
Still trying different backgrounds but none had fit so far...

Many thanks to:

Looks like a hot-cold relationship to me!
*Smack!*
Sorry.
Now that I look at it again, the piece reminds me of the Greek gods Aries and Aphrodite...though the latter seems more like Athena (triple As! )
I will say that the effects are quite intriguing in that they keep the eyes on them for longer amounts of time then usual art does. However, the left character seems somewhat stiff, even for a guy made of fire who's bashful about touching a woman made of ice...actually, the woman's pose is perfect for the portrayed elemental character, so now I wonder if they were supposed to be COMPLETE opposites rather then just...complete opposites.

Bottom line: a classy theme with impressive usage of both visual and literal elements, all it really needs is more dynamic atmosphere in the form of more detailed background and less tense, hot guys...wait.
